Terms & Conditions and Process Overview For Web Design

Payment Terms

  • Customers are required to pay 60% of the stipulated amount for the web design process to commence.

  • The remaining 40% must be paid before final delivery of the website design and development.

  • By accepting delivery of the goods and services, the customer unconditionally acknowledges the amount due as detailed on this invoice, in accordance with the trading agreement between Gazzaroo and the customer.

  • Important: All Proof of Payment (POP) must be sent to accounts@gazzaroo.com .No project or service will begin or continue without a valid POP.

  • Please ensure your company name is used as the payment reference so payments can be allocated correctly without delay.

  • If payments are 15 days overdue, the final website invoice will not be released until payments are up to date. Services will resume once payment is received.

  • All deposits are non-refundable, even in cases of project delays or dissatisfaction with the final website.

  • This quotation is valid for 30 days.


Iterations & Hourly Rates

  • All quotations include the stipulated number of iterations.

  • Once iterations are exhausted, an hourly rate of R550 will apply.

  • Work taking 20 minutes or less will not be charged.

  • Work taking 21–30 minutes will be charged at R200.

  • Work taking 31–60 minutes will be charged at the standard hourly rate.

  • While Gazzaroo strives for full plugin compatibility, third-party plugins may cause conflicts.

  • If conflicts arise, clients will be informed and a separate quote will be provided for custom development or adjustments.


Project Lead Times & Client Feedback

  • Project timelines depend on timely client feedback, content, and approvals.

  • Gazzaroo is not responsible for delays caused by late, incomplete, or unclear client feedback.

  • Clients are expected to provide feedback within 5 business days after receiving any milestone.

  • Delays beyond this period will extend the project timeline, and Gazzaroo accepts no liability for missed deadlines due to client delays.

  • If extensive feedback or changes are submitted after long delays, Gazzaroo reserves the right to re-scope and re-quote additional work.

  • If feedback is still outstanding and the website remains on the construction domain for longer than 4 weeks, the site will be moved live to avoid further delays.

  • A R700 hosting fee will apply for extended use of the construction domain beyond this period.


Hosting & Going Live

  • Gazzaroo can communicate directly with your hosting provider to assist with going live or resolving technical issues.

  • This service helps save time and reduce technical stress for the client.

  • Up to 30 minutes of hosting communication is included free of charge.

  • If hosting support exceeds 30 minutes, the standard hourly rate of R550 will apply.

  • Once final content and approvals are received, please allow 3–4 working days for the website to go live.


Website Backups

  • Gazzaroo is responsible only for website design and development.

  • Website backups are not included in our services.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that regular and secure backups are handled by their hosting provider.

  • Gazzaroo is not liable for data loss, downtime, or issues resulting from failed or missing backups.
